We woke up Monday morning in Provincetown to a beautiful sunny ninety degree day.The Bed and Breakfast where we stayed served breakfast and we drank much coffee. The guy serving breakfast asked us our plans and we told him Herring Cove. Smiling broadly he asked if we needed directions to the boy’s nude beach. We did so he gave us some tips. One of which was,go when it’s crowded so you get plenty of warning if the rangers shows up on their three wheeled ATV. If you get caught naked they give you a seventy five dollar ticket but no arrest. We both thought seventy five dollars was worth getting naked in public so off we went after breakfast.
There are a couple of ways to get to the beach. One is to bike to a spot that has bike racks and walk the trails to the beach and then go about a mile to the end of Herring Cove where the unofficial naked boys’ only beach is located. The other is to park in the beach parking lot on the left and walk about a mile and a half to Herring Cove. We had to go that way but next time we will get bikes. Once you hit the beach you just keep going left and follow the few signs to Herring Cove. The beach starts out by the parking lot with families and kids. As you keep going you run into a Lesbian section and then a mixed sex kind a beach where you start to see some nudity, not always male. So with the sun beating down we kept going until there was no doubt we had arrived at the nude beach. I don’t know how to explain the exact location but I’ll give you the same advice we got as it turned out to be true. You will know it when you get there.
The gay male section of the beach has some dunes and alcoves to camp out in and lay in the sun. There are guys of all ages’ shapes and sizes. Some are naked, some are contemplating it and look kind of sheepish and some, like my husband and I, just put their blanket down and loose the clothes. Now a good suntan spray is a must as is making sure you cover all the important areas. I missed a spot on my ankle and got a burn, but you see I was paying more attention to the more sensitive areas of my body, and as I found, I was not alone.
The last thing I wanted was sunburned testicles and a sunburned penis. I wasn’t so confident about the protection afforded by the suntan spray so I went for the lotion. I applied it liberally as directed lifting, rubbing, encircling, going lower underneath and became oblivious to my surroundings as I concentrated on protecting my junk. When I was almost done, I looked up to find that some naked guys had set up a blanket to my right and another group of four just to our left. All were staring at me while stroking themselves. As I think back on it, I gave them a good show while applying the lotion :o). It happened one more time when I stood up and bent over to rub the sand off the top of my feet. I’m always flattered when anyone finds me attractive and I mean anyone, male, female, young, old. how can you not be, it’s an honor.
The next four hours were spent naked in the sun. Guys walked naked into the water, hung out naked eating lunch and one couple flew a kite. I was fascinated because you hardly ever get to see the male body moving around naked doing thing like flying a kite. It’s really a very sexy beautiful sight. Many times during the afternoon boats full of guys would pull up close to the shore and blow their horns, hoot, and wave. It was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. When we were walking back to the car, my husband and I promised that we would be naked more at home and in public. So far we are sticking to that promise :o).

Did you have a problem with insects? AFter our first time (when my exposed bits were used as a buffet for biting critters) the Partner and I learned to take some kind of bug spray with us to the P-town beach.
ReplyDeleteAnd in keeping with your promise to be naked mroe often... if you want to be naked in public up here in Canada... Toronto has a nice nude beach (with practically no bugs at all).
