"He Made Them Angel"

Part 7

He that is both Mother and Father, made them all. He made them male, He made them female, and He made them Angel.

Lucifer had spent forty days and forty nights with Him, over two thousand years ago when the One who is creation took form on earth as a Jewish male. Lucifer, as had Michael, been told of creation’s plan, and had watched it spiral out of control with little intervention from its Author. They watched as two of the first humans were placed in a forest having all their needs met as children by their Parent. They watched as the Parent took delight in tempting His creation with a test, they had no chance of passing. They watched as the Creator evicted these two humans from the forest to fend for themselves after their failure. They watched as the Author of creation repeated this test with humans around the earth, always with the same result. It seemed insane to Lucifer as the One who made the sun, created and spread guilt and shame upon the earth. Michael would not speak of it and share his thoughts. He remained in painful silence; it grew to be his home.

After the testing of humans, the crown of creation, had ended, they began to multiply, interact, starve, die, and murder. The Author of all, added to Michael and Lucifer legions of Guardians as the number of humans grew. Subjected to the violent acts of nature, they in turn became violent against one another. The Creator’s communications with Its creation were few, often through what the humans called prophets and signs. Sometimes thought Lucifer, the communication intentionally provoked derision amongst the humans that led to slaughter. Such was the case when a tribe of humans called Jews, were told they were set apart as chosen by the Creator. They became hated, enslaved and despised by other human tribes, but this too was the intent of He who knows all. It was during this time that the seeds of doubt began to take root in Lucifer’s mind. Was the creation cherished or simply the play thing of its Creator? Was the plan of Creation imperfect? Was the One who breathes life imperfect as well? Lucifer confided his doubts to his brother, but Michael would not speak his feelings. The Author of life knew Lucifer’s thoughts, as It knew Michael’s, but did nothing.

Creation's Author had another plan. It was one of redemption, it was one of many, as were the tribes of humans. In Lucifer’s mind this plan was horrifying. It included the torture of humans, the slaughter of animals and the eventual death and resurrection of the Creator of all. It seemed insane. As the plan unfolded over hundred of human years it came toward its end as the Creator became human for a time. Became human to allow Itself to be tortured, murdered and resurrected. It was during this time that Lucifer guarded the Creator in the dessert and tried to reason with the Author of Life to abandon the plan. Lucifer pleaded with the One who is the atom, to simply interact with Its human creation, because it was truly the Creator’s lack of interaction that caused humans to live as they did.

They were as children without a parent, innately given the knowledge of right and wrong, the desire to love, but no guidance as to how. Instead they lived in misery under the laws imposed upon them by an absent Creator. Frustration over this pressure, and despair over having their own immortality yanked from them, so they now too faced death, caused their violence and excesses. Simple interaction with the One who created them, would have calmed their fears and silenced their doubts, but none came from the Kingdom. Guardian Angles were created to deal with the symptoms of the creation plan gone awry but were not able to deal with its true disease, a distant Creator.

After the time in the desert, the Creator of Life, now human, ordered Lucifer away. During the next three human years Lucifer recruited allies amongst the nonhuman creations of the Kingdom convincing them that the Creator was imperfect, Its plan inflicting needless harm upon humans. Of those he convinced, a number were Guardians under his and Michael’s command. Lucifer reminded them of their charge to intervene on the behalf of man protecting them from harm when possible, aiding them in their recovery when not.

Lucifer convinced them that it was their obligation to man that compelled them to rebel against the Creator, the Author of life, also the Author of all human suffering and pain. Now as the Creator was nailed to a tree, a bloody raw pulp made of His human body, Lucifer and his patriots prepared to act, to rebel against the Kingdom at the moment of death. All in place; all ready, all but Michael, the most powerful Archangel, the brother of Lucifer. Lucifer sadly understood. He understood that if not convinced, Michael would battle him protecting the Kingdom and its Creator. The war against the Kingdom would come down to the two Archangels. One would remain, one would not.
